Been snooping around the South Australia scene this week. Following the rabbit hole starting with yesterday’s investigation of Terrible Truths led me right to this, the solo project of S. Wilson. She uses 80’s analogue synths and heavily effected drum machine loops to create an eerie, dark river of sound. You wade in, and lay on your back and watch the riverbanks float languidly by with your ears underwater.
